Ricardo is the Spa on Green Street’s resident naturopath and nutritionist. He joined the team back in 2005 when he moved from Houston, TX, having worked both in an integrative medical clinic as well as in private practice. He still travels regularly to Houston and maintains an active practice there as well as here in GA. With his expertise in nutrition, herbal medicine and homeopathy, Ricardo is passionate about helping people find the root causes of their imbalances, and assisting them on their path to wellness.

Ricardo stays active in the Gainesville community and finds great reward in educating others on responsible self-care and disease prevention. He hosts a weekly radio show devoted to natural health on WCBX 89.1 (Brenau University), and offers lectures and classes on a variety of natural health topics like metabolism, hormones and digestion.

An avid tennis player and fitness enthusiast himself, Ricardo resides in North Georgia with his wife Susan, with whom he enjoys discovering inventive ways to live, eat and relax in good health.
