Here are a few tips for maintaining your health and increasing longevity:

1. Weight Resistance Exercise at least 3 days a week. This would include yoga, pilates or any type of functional training.

2. Cardiovascular Exercise at least 4 days a week. This would include power walking, running, swimming or any type of activity that keeps your heart rate up consistantly for 20-30 minutes.

3. Balanced diet of protein with plenty of green leafy vegetables. Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day. Eat plenty of color!

4. Regular massage on a monthly basis. Massage is critical for the effective growth of new muscle and in healing injured or strained tissue. It is also helpful in removing toxins from the body, this keeps the body youthful and reduces stress.

5. Regular facials every 6 weeks. We can’t forget the importance of skin health as we age. Getting regular facials allows the body to regenerate new collagen and generates growth of new healthier cells through exfoliation and hydration.
